Roasting Garlic

Roasting garlic is so easy to do. If you are a true garlic lover like I am you need to know how to roast it. Preheat your oven to 450 degrees. Peel as much garlic as you want roasted. Place the garlic cloves in a piece of tin foil and dredge them with olive or vegetable oil. Seal the tin foil by simply folding it so that the oil will not spill all over your oven. Place on the oven rack and leave in the over for approximately 45 min to one hour. The smell and aroma of the garlic cooking is amazing. Once done, take out of the tin foil and use it for just about anything. To give a new taste to mashed potatoes add the roasted garlic while you are mashing. Tastes fantastic.
