Valentine's Day Breakfast Ideas

As a child I was always told not to play with my food but now that I'm all grown up, I can play with it whenever I want to.

The other day I was at my favorite store picking up some fruit and lettuce and they had these beautiful strawberries on sale from Florida. At this time of year it's rare to see such nice fruit so of course I bought some.

Anyways this morning I was making up lunches and thought about a tool I'd gotten as a promotional item from Jesco, when I bought some knives this past summer and thought .... perfect, I can play with the strawberries and cut them in cute shapes.

After I was done playing around with the strawberries I put them into a cantaloupe shell that I'd scooped out.  I was thinking that this would be a great breakfast idea for Hubby on Valentine's Day. The only problem is that it looked so good I ate it already ......

Yes of course I'm kidding.  I wouldn't really serve him something that was 13 days old! But I will buy another cantaloupe and strawberries along with blueberries, raspberries, and maybe some kiwi and make up a nice fruit salad for Valentine's Day breakfast. Except this time I'll cut the cantaloupe into a basket.
