Low Carb Gluten Free Almond Flax Bread

After reading numerous recipes for almond flax bread here is a recipe that came from all of my reading and researching. This bread is grain free, low carb and gluten free bread.

Almond Flax Bread


Dry ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups of ground almonds aka almond flour
  • 1/4 cup of ground flax seed meal
  • 1 1/2 tsp. of baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. of fine sea salt

Wet ingredients

  • 1/4 cup of extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tbs. of honey
  • 1 tbs. of apple cider vinegar
  • 4 eggs


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit
  2. Grease a loaf pan
  3. In a medium size bowl mix all of your dry ingredients together really well
  4. In a smaller bowl whisk all of the wet ingredients together 
  5. Add the wet ingredients to the dry mixing really well
  6. Pour the batter into the greased loaf pan
  7. Bake for 23 minutes or until you can insert a toothpick into the center of the bread having it come out clean.
  8. Remove from the oven and cool completely 
  9. Slice and enjoy
If you slice this loaf of bread thinly you can get 16 slices or more from it.
